Illuminated Signs
When the sun goes down, most signs disappear. Yours doesn’t have to. Illuminated signage ensures your brand is visible, legible, and commanding around the clock. But great illuminated signage isn’t just about being seen at night — it’s about presence, polish, and the kind of visual impact that a non-illuminated sign simply cannot achieve.
Great For
Illuminated Signs
Light as a Design Element
The best illuminated signs don’t just add light — they use it. We design illuminated signage with the light itself in mind.
Channel Letters
Individually fabricated, three-dimensional letters with built-in illumination in face-lit, halo-lit, and combination configurations.
Lightboxes & Illuminated Cabinets
For high-visibility retail, menu boards, directories, and large-format applications, illuminated cabinets deliver consistent illumination across the entire sign face.

Neon & LED Neon: Character You Can’t Fake
Custom glass neon in any color, font, and shape. LED neon flex is a strong alternative for outdoor or high-traffic applications.
LED: Better Light, Lower Costs
Every illuminated sign we produce uses LED technology. LED runs cooler, uses less energy, and lasts far longer than older fluorescent systems.
Code Compliance and Permits
We manage the full permitting process — from initial code review through DOB filing and LPC approval.

Illuminated Signs FAQs
Face-lit letters have a translucent colored face that glows when illuminated from inside — the light shines forward, making the letters bright and highly visible. Halo-lit letters have an opaque face with LEDs directed toward the mounting surface behind the letter, creating a halo glow effect. Face-lit is typically used where maximum visibility is the priority; halo-lit is favored for more refined environments where the effect matters as much as the visibility.
It depends on the specific landmark designation and the nature of the sign. Some landmark buildings permit illuminated signage with LPC approval; others do not. We can advise you on what’s possible before you get too far into the design process.
In most cases, yes. LED retrofits deliver better light quality, lower energy bills, and dramatically reduced maintenance costs. We’ll evaluate your existing sign and give you an honest assessment of whether a retrofit makes sense or whether replacement is the better path.
Real glass neon is handcrafted — tubes of glass are heated and bent into shape, then filled with gas that glows when electrified. The result has a warmth, depth, and organic quality that LED can’t fully replicate. LED neon flex is more durable, more affordable, and better suited to outdoor and high-traffic environments. If budget and environment allow, glass neon is special. If they don’t, LED neon is very good. We’ll help you figure out which makes sense for your project.
