Film & TV Production
New York is one of the world’s great production cities, and the signs that populate its sets — period storefronts, fictional brands, hero props, street dressing — are as much a part of the visual language of that work as the performances and the cinematography. We work with feature films, television series, streaming productions, commercials, and music videos, supplying the signage, props, and set graphics that make fictional environments look completely real. We move at production speed, we understand the pressures of a shooting schedule, and we treat a 6am delivery deadline as a normal Tuesday.

Storefront Transformations
Covering or replacing existing signage, installing period-appropriate or fictional brand signage, and dressing a facade to read as a specific business, in a specific era, in a specific context requires speed, precision, and an installation team that knows how to work within the constraints of a real city location. Everything that goes up comes down without damage, and we work within the production’s location management protocols throughout.
Period Signage and Historical Accuracy
Period productions demand signage that’s accurate to the era — the right letterforms, the right materials, the right aging and patina. We research and fabricate period signage with the historical accuracy that serious productions require, whether that’s hand-painted gold leaf lettering on a 1920s speakeasy window, a neon-lit cocktail lounge from the 1950s, or a fluorescent-lit diner from the 1970s.

Hero Props and Close-Up Fabrication
Hero props require a level of fabrication quality that background dressing doesn’t. A sign that reads perfectly from across the street may not hold up under a macro lens. We fabricate hero sign props to the standard the camera demands: crisp edges, accurate colors, materials that read correctly in the specific lighting conditions of the production.
Multiples, Breakaways, and On-Set Support
We produce props in multiples — hero versions, stunt versions, background versions — with consistent quality across every unit. For props that need to be damaged or destroyed on camera, we produce breakaway versions engineered to fail exactly as the scene requires. For complex installations or fast-moving shoots, we provide on-set support to handle whatever comes up.

Film & TV Production FAQs
For straightforward print and vinyl work, same-day and next-day turnaround is often achievable. For fabricated props and signs, 48 hours is typical. Call us before you assume something can’t be done in time.
Yes. We work from whatever the production provides — a vision, a reference image, a rough sketch, or a verbal description. For time-critical requests, we can develop and approve design digitally and move directly into fabrication.
Yes. We document the location before we begin, protect surfaces during installation, and restore everything to its original condition after the shoot.
Yes. We work within whatever parameters the production’s legal and clearance team establishes and can develop fictitious brand identities for props that need to feel real without using actual trademarks.
